Our return visit to Nightcap At Macquarie Inn was another excellent experience with our 1.5-year-old twins. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring nearby attractions like Taronga Western Plains Zoo. The bistro staff provided great service, and the kids loved the playground. it was a nice stay that lingered in our family's memories.

I loved the stay and would stay here again. My room was neat & new-fashioned with a kitchenette, comfy beds, a large TV. The location of the property was good and perfect, in the restaurant due to Corona virus concerns...

The beds were a nightmare! They rolled around on wheels and wouldn't stay put. Every time we leaned on them, the top mattress slid off. It was impossible to get comfortable, making it tough for anyone to get a good night's sleep.

We appreciated the good room rate and included breakfast, though the noisy pipes from the adjoining room disturbed our sleep. The proximity to lovely landmarks like the Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden made for enjoyable family outings, and we would stay again for the relaxing atmosphere.

During my recent two-night stay, I was pleased with the comfortable room, which was spacious and well-equipped for my needs. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made a great impression, providing a warm welcome and helpful tips about local restaurants. I appreciated the good value provided by the included continental breakfast and found the location quiet and easy to access, making it a relaxing spot to unwind.
I do not recommend this hotel.

I had a lovely stay! The location couldn't be better, with easy access to everything and plenty of parking for my big car. I enjoyed a delicious pub meal and drinks, plus the free continental breakfast the next morning was a nice bonus. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the vibe of charming old-style accommodation.
I did run into a couple of hiccups. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, which was frustrating, and there were a few maintenance issues like a leaky shower. The laundry was also out of order, which was a letdown after my outback adventure! it was a nice stay, but those little things could be improved.
